How long does chin liposuction last?

Liposuction of any kind physically removes fat cells from the body. These fat cells will not regrow. They are permanently gone.

This means your results should last for a substantial amount of time — likely between five and 10 years, or ideally, longer. Unfortunately, the natural aging process and a combination of time and gravity will inevitably begin to alter your results, and slowly over time, you may notice a return of submental fat and sagging skin beneath the neck. Of course, there are always opportunities to undergo additional neck liposuction down the line or to try an alternative double chin removal method such as a neck lift or KYBELLA® injections.
