A significant weight gain, however, could result in fat returning to the treated areas. It isn’t that new fat cells will be created, but rather that the remaining fat cells may grow larger. If you are unable to lose this extra weight naturally through diet and exercise or if you decide to target a different area of the body, a second liposuction procedure may be possible.
